Days at sea were never dull. Sunsets, sunrises, rainbows and waves…

ESTONIA
Talinn, Estonia welcomed us to locally brewed honey beer, lots of beautiful linen clothing, a ton of wool and many handcrafted goods. We didn’t explore for long as a dark rain cloud decided to roll in. We retreated back to the ship for a room service happy hour which consisted of margaritas and micheladas. For those who have never tried a michelada, its a refreshing drink made of beer poured over ice, lots of freshly squeezed lime juice, Worcestershire sauce and some salt. The perfect remedy for a rainy afternoon.

EAST MEETS WEST
We disembarked in the charming town of Warnemunde first thing in the morning for a 3-hour bus ride into Berlin. Such an amazing city with an even more interesting history. From the six hours I spent on the infamous autobahn (proving that many people do know how to drive -no traffic at all when everyone passes on the left!) to touring the parliament building, it was a feast for the eyes. Lucky for my wallet, the tour bus only briefly drove us through the best shopping areas. My one day in Germany just wasn’t enough! A tour of the country is officially on my “To Do” list.
